The brain child of Shaw Archives, an agency who own over 400 images of Marilyn and a UK-based clothing company, Blues Clothing, want to launch a retro look line of clothes in Europe from the start of 2009. The more casual Marilyn style has always been very popular, so if the range includes high waisted shorts, bateau sweatshirts, wide leg pants, crisp shirts and oversized wool coats, this potentially could be a sell-out when it launches next year in France, with a view to hitting the UK later. With a film about Tinkerbell, the Disney character inspired by Monroe, due to hit the screens at the end of the year, this could be the start of a newly revived Monroe-madness.
